Our Sydney Northern Beaches based team has over 30 years’ worth of experience working with various CO2 laser systems. We utilise the laser to engrave, mark and cut a wide range of materials and products. We commonly engrave products from our extensive range of medals and trophies. Our speciality is laser engraving glass, crystal and acrylic awards from our corporate range of products.
Laser engraving is an incredibly versatile method of customisation. The process speed and interaction with a digital interface makes it far quicker and cost-effective option when compared to traditional engraving methods. Laser engravers are designed to work predominately with a flat engraving area, however Platinum Awards has the machinery in house to engrave cylindrical drinkware, glassware and reusable drinking devices. We commonly laser engrave wine, champagne, whisky glasses and beer tankards.
We have recently seen a surge in requests for laser engraving into drinkware predominantly stainless steel and anodised aluminium water bottles. The customisation of timber and wood products via laser engraving has also seen a large increase in recent years.
Platinum Awards also offers sublimation colour printing and machine engraving as alternative forms of customisation. Sublimation printing gives customers the option to incorporate colour into their award designs through the use of permanent prints onto a range of aluminium products. Our machine engraving services are set up to support sports clubs and school with updating their perpetual awards.

Laser engravable laminate, or laser plate, is a popular material in the awards and signage industry. It offers a versatile and durable option for engraving trophy plates, plaques, signage, and nameplates. Platinum Awards primarily uses brushed gold and silver laser plate, which provides an elegant and sophisticated look. However, laser plate is available in various color combinations to accommodate different preferences and design requirements. These colour options allow for customization and can match the branding or aesthetic needs of a particular project.
Laser Engraving Corporate Awards/Glassware/Drinkware
Platinum Awards laser engrave or laser etch all our corporate awards and glassware in-house. Our CO2 laser engraver allows for precise engraving onto glass, crystal and acrylic products. We have a rotary attachment that allows us to engrave cylindrical products, commonly wine glasses, champagne glasses, whisky tumblers and beer tankards. We have recently seen a surge in requests for laser engraving into drinkware products predominantly stainless steel and anodised aluminium water bottles.

The customisation of timber and wood products has also seen a large increase in recent years. We commonly laser engrave timber signage and wooden chopping boards for gift items and marketing products for the business/corporate sector.
We have an extensive range of laser engraved samples including glass, crystal and acrylic awards and also a wide range of glassware, water bottles and laser engraved timber samples on display at our Brookvale showroom on the Northern Beaches of Sydney
